I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because...
I’m taking part in a walk to raise money and, most importantly, spread awareness for people living with epilepsy 💜
This cause is especially important to me because I have a cousin who lives with epilepsy and deals with its challenges every single day. Epilepsy impacts her in so many ways beyond just having seizures, and seeing the effect it can have on her life has made this cause even more meaningful to me, I also had epilepsy when I was younger and thankfully grew out of it.Â
I’m proud to be taking part in this walk to help raise awareness, support those living with epilepsy, and help people better understand that epilepsy is so much more than just the episodes themselves.

Epilepsy Is More Than a Seizure
Wednesday 12th AugEpilepsy is so much more than the seizures people see. For my cousin, it’s something she lives with every single day, affecting her life in ways that aren’t always visible.
I’m taking part in the Epilepsy Awareness Walk to help raise awareness, support those living with epilepsy and remind people that there is so much more to epilepsy than an episode.
