My target 100 kms

Shanks's pony, a walk in the park, and the good old treadmill

The first day of this challenge I needed to catch the bus to Woolloongabba, and almost by accident hit the required 4km. An "easy" start until I felt it the next day, but in a nice activated muscle kind of way.
When a seizure happens, the time without a licence is 3 months if explained or 6 months if unexplained. It's just one of the many ways quality of life is affected by people with epilepsy.  I believe that we have a car culture in Australia, so particularly at night (but even getting to work on time) the illness can be isolating. How brilliant that donations go towards towards services that forster independence. Please consider donating a few dollars.
What's not isolating is how many people you come across on a walk! I'm fortunate to work in Manly, so I took a walk in nearby Lota park - me and the rest of Lota, so many friendly people.
Finally, I used the treadmill the other days. I love that they're automated these days. Five days has gone super quickly.
