I am walking for Epilepsy to raise awareness and funds to support those families affected.

I want to raise money and awareness to help make a difference for people living with epilepsy. Epilepsy affects 1 in 200 children (0.5%) It presents in many forms and in some cases can be severe, debilitating and put a lot of strain on a family. Many regions are under served, and under resourced particularly for paediatric epilepsy. In the Townsville Health Service we are so incredibly lucky to now have our first Paediatric Neurologist and A small supporting team. The Epilepsy Foundation helps to support families affected by providing education and support whilst advocating for research and change in care and outcomes.
