We thought we were in the clear!

Tuesday 18th Aug
My daughter was diagnosed with Idiopathic Generalised Epilepsy at age 11! This came out of the blue and rocked our whole family. We were very fortunate to have amazing an amazing medical team who supported us all 110% and eventually said she could come off her meds as she was doing really well and had been seizure free for some time. We would reevaluate if there were any changes later. For a few years we thought we were free until about 3 weeks ago where out of nowhere she seized on a train over an hour from home. She’s doing well now but it seems this is here to stay so now we will give back by raising as much money as we can to help research and support families in our situation. We will forever raise awareness and do whatever we can to help and support the epilepsy community
