I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because...
In late December of 2022, I was excited, the working year was nearly over and Christmas break was upon us. That night i got ready for bed and went to sleep as normal. The next thing i know i had a splitting headache, felt so sick in the stomach and my mouth and tongue hurt. My husband was telling me, "it's going to be ok, the ambulance is on the way". The paramedics took me to hospital, where it was established that i had had a tonic clonic nocturnal seizures. This had never happened before, and I was terrified.
