Walking for epilepsy

Thursday 27th Aug
I was 16 years old when i first had a seizure, my family had no idea what was happening and what to do, they rushed me to the nearest hospital and turned out it was a seizure. I then had seizures every 3 or so weeks after the first one. I have experienced all the challenges with epilepsy and the scary roller coaster that comes with it. From trying to come of meds as I was doing so well then crashing out again and put on completely new meds that didn’t help at all to know back on my first ever meds. Working out my triggers are and learning to face all the challenges it throws at me. I wouldn’t have pushed through so strongly if I didn’t have my family and close friends around me to help in every possible way. I’m walking to help spread awareness for epilepsy and put the word out there.
