💜 Walking for Epilepsy — for our Daisy 💜

This cause will always be incredibly close to my heart.

Our beautiful Daisy began suffering seizures when she was just 4 months old. As a first-time mum, I had no idea what was happening or what we were facing. Nothing can prepare you for holding your tiny baby in your arms while she is seizing, watching her turn blue and feeling completely helpless.

It is something no parent should ever have to experience.

Daisy was just an innocent little baby, yet from such a young age she was having seizures and needed medication to help control them. Those early days were frightening, overwhelming and filled with so much uncertainty. Watching your baby go through something you can’t fix or take away from them is a feeling that stays with you.

For the past 5 years, I have taken part in this walk for epilepsy, and I will continue to walk, raise money and raise awareness for a cause that means so much to our family.

I walk for Daisy. 💜
I walk for the babies, children and adults living with epilepsy.
I walk for the parents holding their children through seizures, terrified and wishing they could take it away.
And I walk in the hope that continued awareness, support and research can make a difference for families going through what we did.
