I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because...
I was diagnosed with epilepsy in November 2024 after years of hospital trips and close to zero answers. Since the diagnosis I did my best to navigate my new challenges, however in May 2025 at a friend's 21st birthday party, I suffered from a major grand mal seizure where I had stopped breathing and no pulse was found for a short while. This experience made the reality of epilepsy's challenges set in. I decided to take part in the walk for epilepsy as I understand just how difficult, frustrating, confusing and nervwracking every single day can be.My Achievements
