I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because...

This walk means a lot to me because epilepsy isn’t just a condition I’m raising awareness about — it’s something I live with every day.

Epilepsy can be unpredictable, frightening and incredibly challenging, and while much of what people see is the seizure itself, there is so much more that comes with living with epilepsy.

I’m taking part in the Epilepsy Walk because I want to help raise awareness, support research and services, and make a difference for the many people and families whose lives are affected by epilepsy.

I know firsthand how important understanding, support and awareness can be. I want to help make sure that people living with epilepsy feel less alone, are better understood, and have access to the support they need.
