Why We're Walking for Epilepsy...

Last year was our first year taking part in Walk for Epilepsy.

We walked for Harrison, our brave seven-year-old nephew, who lives with epilepsy.

Harrison is a happy, funny and much-loved little boy, and through him our family has seen firsthand the impact epilepsy can have on a child and the people who love them.

Through the challenge, we heard from friends, family and people in our wider community who shared their own connections to epilepsy and stories of loved ones living with the condition. 

We also had the opportunity to meet the dedicated team at Epilepsy Queensland and learn more about the work they do supporting people and families living with epilepsy.

That made last year’s challenge even more meaningful to us.

So this year, we’re opening up the Costello Group team and inviting our friends, families and wider community to walk with us.

We’re walking for Harrison, and for all the children, adults and families living with epilepsy. 

Together, we hope to raise awareness and funds for Epilepsy Queensland and the important support they provide across Queensland.

This year, we’d love to have even more people walking alongside us. 💜
