I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because...
My 7-year-old son Harrison, has drug-resistant epilepsy. His first seizure was at just two years old, since then it’s been a rollercoaster of seizures, medications, hospital visits, fear, hope and searching for answers.
I’m walking for him, but also for every person and family living with epilepsy.
I want to raise awareness, but more than that, I want people to feel heard. To feel safe enough to share their story and talk about the parts of epilepsy that people don’t always see.
If sharing our story helps someone else feel a little less alone, then it’s worth it. 💜
