Walking for Epilepsy My Journey, My Strength, My Hope 💜

I’m taking part in the Walk for Epilepsy because epilepsy is something I live with every day.
I have epilepsy and experience tonic-clonic (formerly known as grand mal) seizures. Living with seizures can be frightening and unpredictable, and it affects not only me but also the people I love and those around me.
There are days when I worry about when the next seizure might happen, what could happen during one, and how it impacts my everyday life. But I don’t want epilepsy to define me.
I’m walking to raise awareness, to show support for everyone living with epilepsy, and to help raise much-needed funds for research, education and support.
Every kilometre I walk is for myself, for my family, and for everyone who has ever felt scared or alone because of epilepsy. 💜
