On Wednesday I will begin my annual Walk for Epilepsy. 

From October 1st to 25th, I’ll be walking to raise awareness and funds for the 1 in 25 Australians who will be diagnosed with epilepsy in their lifetime.

This cause is close to my heart. As a parent of two beautiful children who live with epilepsy, I’ve seen firsthand how this condition impacts every part of life — the uncertainty, the daily challenges, and the strength it demands, not just from them, but from our whole family.

Epilepsy isn’t always visible. It doesn’t always look the same. But it’s always there — in the background of every decision, every worry, every hope. That’s why I walk. For my children. For the families like ours. For the people living with epilepsy who deserve understanding, support, and a future full of possibilities.

Every step I take this October is filled with purpose and love. 💜
