I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because...

Marli and I are proud to be participating in the Walk for Epilepsy to raise awareness, show support, and help fund vital services for people living with epilepsy—especially my partner and her dad, who lives with this condition every day.

Epilepsy is more than just seizures. It impacts so many areas of life—health, independence, mental wellbeing, and family dynamics. I’ve seen firsthand the challenges it can bring, but also the strength, courage, and resilience it builds. My partner is one of the strongest people I know, and I’m walking for them, and for the thousands of other Australians affected by epilepsy.

By walking, I’m hoping to not only raise funds for critical support services, education, and research, but also to help break down the stigma that still surrounds epilepsy. Every step counts—toward better understanding, better care, and a more inclusive future.

If you’re able, I’d be so grateful for your support—whether that’s through a donation, sharing my story, or simply walking beside me in spirit.

Together, we can make a difference.
