My story, My purpose 💜

Friday 18th Sep Epilepsy is a serious neurological disorder with no known cure. People with Epilepsy such as myself struggle daily and yet it often isn’t shown. I was very young when I had my first seizure and then later diagnosed with epilepsy and I didn’t know what it ment, all I knew was that I was different and not a “normal” kid. As I got older and found the right medication, I stopped having seizures until I was 13. Unfortunately from then, they only got worse and more severe. I felt as if I was in the hospital at least once a week. Trying to get the right medication was hard, I started taking medication that turned me into a completely different person, I was no longer a happy, loud, bubbly person. I became angry and frustrated. My parents and doctor talked and finally found the medication that I am now on and thankfully I’m now 4 years seizure free! I was going through what I described as hell but I’m so thankful for the support I received from my family and friends. I don’t know what I would do without them.  I want be able to raise money to go towards a better support system for others with Epilepsy and research for a cure. 💜 Share
