I’m taking part in the Walk for Epilepsy in memory of my brother-in-law, Lachie, who sadly passed away in 2024 due to epilepsy. Lachie was a much-loved son, brother, brother-in-law, and friend whose kindness, laughter, and presence touched so many lives.
I want to raise money and make a difference for people living with epilepsy. Please help me by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button. The more people that know about the walk, the greater the impact, so please also spread the word by sharing our page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!

Lachie 💜
Friday 11th SepThis October, Brodie, Mitch and I are taking on the challenge of walking 100km to support epilepsy awareness and raise funds for a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts.
We are walking in memory of my brother-in-law, Lachie, who sadly passed away in 2024 due to epilepsy. Lachie was more than just family he was a cherished son, brother, brother-in-law, and friend who brought so much joy, laughter, and love to those around him. His loss has left a permanent mark on our lives, and not a day goes by that we don’t think of him.
Epilepsy affects millions of people and their families, yet many people don’t fully understand the challenges that come with living with this condition. Through this walk, we hope to honour Lachie’s memory, raise awareness, and support the vital work being done to improve research, education, advocacy, and support services for those impacted by epilepsy.
Every kilometre we walk this month will be for Lachie. It will be for the memories we hold onto, the moments we wish we could relive, and the future we hope to help create for others living with epilepsy. Some days the kilometres may feel easy, while others may be challenging, but they are nothing compared to the challenges faced by individuals and families affected by epilepsy every day.
We would be so grateful for your support, whether that’s through a donation, sharing our page, or simply helping us spread awareness about epilepsy. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, helps make a difference.
Lachie, this walk is for you. We miss you beyond words, and we will carry your memory with us every step of the way. Your life mattered, your story matters, and we hope that through this challenge we can help create greater awareness and support in your honour.
Thank you for supporting us as we walk 100km this October. 💜
