I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because...

In Australia 1in 150 people are diagnosed with epilepsy. Epilepsy is a chronic brain condition that causes recurring seizures which are caused by the temporary disruption of the brains electrical activity. 

Healing and accepting this diagnosis is life long however continued research, funds for studies & advocacy make mine/others lives look a little less scary. 

To my pas father Desmond as well who had a diagnosis of epilepsy without modern medicine, I hope this change finds you wherever you are.
