My target 35 kms
I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because...
TLDR:
I turned 35 this year, and my seizures usually present as Deja Vu with fear/dread, a (never real) "prediction", and they're pretty spooky.
So, given spooky season lines up with this challenge, my goal is to walk at least 35km during October, ideally dressed in something spooky themed 👻!

Deja Vu is Spooky Too!

With help from Grammarly:
I am incredibly fortunate to have avoided regular convulsive
seizures, but my experience with epilepsy has still been life changing. It's
crucial to raise awareness about the less visible forms of epilepsy, which can
still have serious consequences if left untreated.
Thanks to the understanding and support of my partner and the
other incredible people around me, I have been able to lead a relatively normal
life, despite the changes and challenges since my diagnosis.
Let's walk together to increase awareness for all presentations of Epilepsy.

Best attempt yet
Tuesday 29th Oct Okay so I didn't quite hit 35km by the 25th, I was getting pretty close but I ended up with a couple of days of funky hormones and what we think were some little focal-awares, or at least some cheeky brain activity 🌩️🧠
