I am 1 in 25. 1 in 25 Australians live with epilepsy. I have a full and active life, but epilepsy is a challenge. Epilepsy is the second most common neurological condition after dementia.

Up to 70% of people can become seizure free with the appropriate diagnosis and use of Anti-Seizure Medication.

In Australia, Epilepsy causes approximately 300 deaths per year, most commonly from SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death In Epilepsy), where there is no other medical explanation for the death.
