I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy around Australia because...

On Australia Day in 2021, I woke up to my family sitting on the end of my bed crying. I had no idea why, I tried to ask but when I tried to talk all I could taste was blood.... next thing you know I hear the ambulance coming my driveway, this is when I come to find out that I had just had a Grand Mal seizure the paramedics came into my home they helped me get out of bed and onto the stretcher, I would never had thought that walking / moving in general would be so hard, every movement another tear would stream down my face due to the amount of pain. At the hospital they gave me water, this is when I knew something was not right as all I could taste blood, and the stinging in my mouth was phenomenal, this is when I was told that I nearly bit half of my tongue off... 

the main lesson I have learnt from this this that your life can change at anytime, so live life to the fullest and if there is anything you can be in the world just be kind.
