My Story

Monday 28th Jul

I want to take a moment to share something deeply personal and ongoing in my life. In 2019, I had my first seizure — it came out of nowhere on January 14th. Just two months later, on March 10th, I had a second seizure, and that’s when I was officially diagnosed with epilepsy.

Since that day, everything changed.

I was put on medication, told I couldn’t drive, and had to let go of a big dream — joining the CFA (Country Fire Authority) and serving my community. It was a tough pill to swallow, but I tried to stay strong.

But epilepsy doesn’t play fair.

On April 16th, 2021, I had another seizure. It was terrifying — my TV fell on top of me, and I hit my head hard on my bedside table. It wasn’t just a seizure; it was a dangerous, painful accident. And sadly, the seizures kept coming:

Each one has taken something from me time, independence, confidence but I keep fighting. And now, I’m asking for your support.
