I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because...
I’m taking part in the Walk for Epilepsy to raise awareness and vital funds for people living with epilepsy. This cause is deeply personal to me because my younger sister lives with epilepsy and faces the challenges that come with it every single day. I’ve seen the impact it has not only on her health, but on her confidence, independence, and daily life, and I want to do something meaningful to support her and others in the same situation.
Every step I take is for my younger sister and for the many others who live with epilepsy. You can make a real difference by donating, just click the “Donate” button.
The more people who know about the Walk for Epilepsy, the greater the impact, so please share this page with your friends and family. Your generosity and support mean the world to me.Â
Thank you!Â

đź’ś Walking Beside My Sister on Her Journey with Epilepsy đź’ś
Sunday 17th AugI’m taking part in the Walk for Epilepsy because this cause is deeply personal to me. My younger sister has lived with epilepsy since she was just four years old, and now, at 18, it continues to shape her life in ways most people never see. Her childhood and teenage years were filled with constant hospital admissions, seizures that were unresponsive to many treatments, and challenges that made something as simple as finishing high school a considerable struggle.
I’ve seen firsthand how epilepsy affects so much more than health; it impacts education, independence, friendships, and the ability to feel like a “normal” young person. Yet, despite all of this, my sister has shown incredible strength and resilience.
Now, as she steps into adulthood, I want to help create a brighter future, not just for her, but for the 250,000 Australians living with epilepsy. This walk is my way of standing beside her, raising awareness, and pushing for better treatments and support.
By donating, you’re not just giving money, you’re giving hope. You’re helping to fund vital research, provide services that make daily life easier for families, and spread understanding so that people living with epilepsy are seen, heard, and supported.
Every step I take is for my younger sister, and for every child, teenager, and adult whose life has been changed by epilepsy. Please donate if you can and share this page with your family and friends. Together, we can walk toward a future where epilepsy no longer holds people back.
Thank you for being so kind, it means more than words can say đź’śđź’śđź’ś
