We’re taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because...
1 in 25 Australians will be diagnosed with epilepsy in their lifetime. 🧠
A journey that started when Mac was 9 months old and is still ongoing, is the reason why our family are doing the 100km in October to raise awareness for epilepsy.
As parents, we feel so helpless watching our baby go through traumatic events, wishing that we could trade places with him. We hope by sharing our story and taking part in Walk for Epilepsy, we can contribute to epilepsy being better understood and further research can be done to support those living with epilepsy.
We love and are so grateful for our friends and family who always show up, check in and have helped out especially with the girls through the many appointments, trips down the Hume, hospital trips and stays and are learning along the way with us ❤️
