I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because...
To raise awareness and funds for people living with epilepsy like my darling girl Charlotte. Charlotte was diagnosed with childhood absence seizures when she was 5yrs old. Unfortunately she is almost 13 and is still suffering from multiple seizures a day. Charlotte suffers from refractory seizures, meaning medication does not help her. We were hopeful she would outgrow this as it is typically a childhood condition, however as she gets older and as she doesn’t respond to medication that looks less likely. Charlotte is the greatest and I would do anything to help her.Â
