I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because I want to help support those with Epilepsy and the families and friends supporting those with Epilepsy
To help or make a difference to those living with Epilepsy and the family and friends supporting them is something so important to me. It not only impacts the individual, but all those surrounding them. Experiencing it first hand myself, I haven’t been able to drive since March 2022; I haven’t been completely alone for more than 2 hours since March 2022. But not only that the anxiety around having a seizure is something I can’t describe in words. Due to the unpredictability of the condition , I could just be feeling strange for 10 seconds. I could blackout and not remember the past 10 minutes , have extreme brain fog and not feel like I can function. Or the worst; I could end up waking up surrounded by paramedics because I’ve had a tonic clonic seizure. Epilepsy has made my life extremely challenging. So any donations would be greatly appreciated.My Achievements
