I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because...
My boyfriend passed away from an epileptic seizure in his sleep on the 13th of July 2023. I only ever received information in relation to SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) after he had passed away. There isn’t enough awareness about this condition and there isn’t enough understanding as to why it occurs. I’m hoping the money I raise will contribute to helping us develop an understanding of this condition. My boyfriend, Hash, lived such a beautiful life and his medications controlled his seizures for the most part. What happened to him was so cruel and devastating and I would never wish the pain and grief we have experienced upon anyone. Any donation, no matter what value, is so appreciated. This is a cause that is so precious to me and I will be forever thankful for any support 🫶🏼
