I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because...

I want to raise money and make a difference for people like me living with epilepsy. 

Epilepsy has changed my way of living, I take daily medications to prevent my seizures and it has affected my work, my ability to drive: I haven’t driven for 1 1/2 years.

 I didn’t always have epilepsy, I had been diagnosed with it a year ago after multiple scans, hospital stays & tests. 

Unfortunately, when I tragically lost my younger brother I was diagnosed with PTSD, which led to my seizures then being diagnosed with frontal lobe epilepsy.
