I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy around Australia because...

I want to raise money and make a difference for people living with epilepsy like my daughter Chelsea.

Chelsea was diagnosed with epilepsy 6 years ago and it has been a huge road for her and our family.

The number of sleepless nights watching my little girl have seizure after seizure and not been able to stop them for her is heartbreaking.

Epilepsy is one of the hardest medical conditions to have as there is no magic medication that works for everyone. Chelsea has been on a number of medications over the last 6 years, and we have had a lot of ups and downs on the way but nothing will stop her from achieving her goals in life.

My goal is to walk 200km in 25days. I feel like this is nothing compared to what people with epilepsy have to deal with daily.
