Walking for a better future for kids like Kristian

I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because... our beautiful son was diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis when he was a baby and one of the many challenges presented with this diagnoses was that he has epilepsy. Kristians epilepsy is uncontrolled meaning that each and every day it is impacting his life, his ability to learn , develop and also creates a risk each and every day in that Kristian can be hurt as a result of a seizure at any moment.

There are many types of epilepsy including SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) . With more treatments , and medical advancements one day more people will have greater control and one day hopefully there will be a cure for all types of epilepsy improving millions of lives worldwide.
