I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy around Australia because...
In April this year, I was diagnosed with Epilepsy after suffering a series of seizures completely out of the blue. After the diagnosis, I learnt just how many Australians suffer from Epilepsy with 1 in 25 Australians developing Epilepsy in their lifetime.
It's a condition that many suffer behind closed doors and for those who suffer drug-resistant Epilepsy, it can be completely debilitating. To help raise awareness I’m supporting the “Walk for Epilepsy’ event by walking/running 150kms from 1st – 25th October.
To help knock off the kms, I’ll be walking 12kms every Sunday morning so if you’re around Bayside please join me!
