I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because I want to raise awareness and much needed funds to support research
I'm walking for my daughter.
In 2023, my daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy and our world changed in an instant. What should have been some of the best years of her life filled with independence, starting her career, getting her driver’s license, and going out with friends were suddenly turned upside down.
Epilepsy doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed. It affects their confidence, their opportunities, and their sense of freedom. It’s been a journey of adjustments, uncertainty, and strength that I never imagined we’d need. But through it all, my daughter has shown resilience and courage that inspires me every single day.
I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy to raise awareness, to fight the stigma, and to support vital research and resources for families like ours. Every step I take is for her—and for the 1 in 25 Australians who will be diagnosed with epilepsy in their lifetime.
Please support me if you can by joining my team, walking, donating, or simply sharing our story.
Together, we can make a difference
Thank you mum for always being my number 1 supporter and helping me through everything. I love you always and forever 💜
