I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because...

I was diagnosed with epilepsy when i was 17 years old. I am lucky in the fact that i do not suffer like a lot of epileptics, but also unlucky in the fact that i was uneducated.

The type of epilepsy i have is against the norm and when i was having seizures, being conscious through them, i never even thought to consider they were epileptic. I want to be a part in educating others in the knowledge that epilepsy comes in many forms so that others who go through what i went through, don't feel so alone.
