My Updates

In Memory of Lisa

Sunday 15th Sep
I grew up with 2 older brothers and two younger sisters.  We were all close in age so we did a lot of things together e.g. played tennis, hockey, footy and netball, as well as attended school within a year of each other.
Lisa one of my younger sisters did very well at school, winning a scholarship for her secondary schooling.  She was fun-loving and very popular among her peers.          In Year 11, she had her first  grand mal seizure, followed by some minor ones, before being stabilised on medication.                                                                        Lisa passed Year 12, gained a degree and went on to enjoy a successful career in financial journalism.  She travelled widely and settled in Vancouver, married a Canadian and had a beautiful little girl.                            Life was good for Lisa, so when she passed away from SUDEP at the age of 41, the shock and devastation felt by our family has been life changing.                                Now, my own 11 yr. old  daughter has epilepsy, so I am committed to raising as much money as I can for epilepsy research, support and care.   Please help me if you can, by donating .. lots
