Walk for Montana & Morgan
Friday 6th OctOn May 27th 2020, our daughter Montana life took a turn when she had my first lot of multiple seizures at work at the age of 17. From then on she was having multiple seizures every four days, This became her 'normal'. June 27th 2020 Montana seized for 3 hours and lost the ability to walk or hold weight on her legs, through physiotherapy appointments, hard work and determination Montana relearnt to walk. We are grateful Montana has been seizure free since November 2021.
In June 2022 we received at call informing us our close family friend also at 17 started having seizures, Morgan was in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit in an induced coma and on life support for 3 Morgan improved everyday. Learning to move his legs and arms, trying to swallow food, and started to talk and walk again. After 2 months in hospital, Morgan was home.
Morgan still suffered from a few seizures but was able to recover by himself.
Until, one night, Morgan had a seizure whilst asleep that took his life. SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death Epilepsy).
RIP Morgan forever young 💜
To be able to Walk in this years
#walkforepilepsy raising money and overall raise awareness is something im extremely grateful for.
