Saturday 25th Oct
💜 WE DID IT!!! 💜

Today marks the last day of our Walk for Epilepsy — and what a journey it’s been.

As many of you know, we set out to walk 100km each between 1–25 October, hoping to raise $2,000 for vital epilepsy research, treatment, and support for families like ours. What started as a small goal to turn our pain into purpose has become something extraordinary.

We’ve walked over 200km each, and together we’ve raised an incredible $10,330 — more than five times our original goal! 💜

Our inspiration for this walk is our son Dylan, who lives with Doose Syndrome — a rare, drug-resistant form of epilepsy. Dylan faces more than 100 seizures every single day. He’s tried countless medications, diets, therapies, and even a VNS implant — yet nothing works for long. He’s had nore hospital visits and ambulance rides than anyone should ever have in a lifetime. His condition is progressive and relentless, impacting his learning, memory, friendships, confidence, and daily life in ways that break our hearts.

There are no easy answers for Dylan — but there is hope, and that’s what we’ve been walking for.

We’ve had amazing and formidable team members walking with us across the world and Australia, in the UK, Dubai, Southern Highlands, Sydney, South Australia, Ayres Rock.  Dylan’s class mates, longterm family friends, his soccer team members, his teachers, past and present.  Incredible support. Unbreakable bonds. So much love. 💜💜💜 We feel blessed.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve walked through the Southern Highlands, Osaka, Hiroshima, Nara, Kyoto, and Tokyo, racking up steps, stories, and a few new pairs of shoes! We’ve laughed, cried, got lost, found our way again, and discovered strength we didn’t know we had. Dylan has walked every step with us — his confidence growing with every stride, every message of support, every donation.

Your generosity has done more than raise funds — it’s lifted Dylan up. It’s given him pride, strength, and a sense that people see him and care. 💜

So from the bottom of our hearts — thank you. You’ve made this journey unforgettable.

👉 Today is the LAST DAY to donate.
Every dollar goes towards research to stop epilepsy in its tracks, and to support families like ours who live this reality every day.

Please help us make one final push — let’s finish strong! 💪
