I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy around Australia because...
I want to help create a better future for people living with epilepsy. People like my beautiful little girl. Sofi had her first seizure, in my arms, at just 8 months of age. The seizure lasted an hour - the longest and most terrifying hour of my life. Since that day she’s had hundreds of seizures; the longest lasting 1 hour 40 mins and resulting in her being intubated to stop it. She takes 5 different drugs twice daily to help control her seizures and we use regular rescue meds. I’ve called 000 well over 200 times and I’ve lost count how many times we’ve been to emergency. Please help me by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button, sharing our story and/or joining our team (1IN25) to walk as many kms as possible.
